Neil Diamond Melody Road Album Review #MelodyRoad #O2O

Neil Diamond's first album release in six years, Melody Road is out now and available to purchase on iTunes and Amazon.   Throughout his well known and wide-ranging musical career, Neil Diamond has charted 37 Top 40 singles and 16 Top 10 albums in the U.S. His most recent original studio release, 2008’s Home Before Dark, debuted at #1 in the U.S. and the UK on the Billboard Top Albums chart.  Neil Diamond is a Grammy Award-winning artist, and he's a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.  I grew up singing along to Neil Diamond music; first with my mom to "Coming to America", later on to "I'm a Believer" then to "Sweet Caroline".  That of course is the song I that always first comes to my mind when hearing his name.

Because of this musical history I enjoyed listening to his most recent studio effort.  All of the songs on the album feel like he's telling us a story.  Many are about relationships and all of them feel positive.  His distinctive voice still sounds as great as it always has.  Here it for yourself below on his song "Something Blue" which happens to be my favorite track on the album:
