    We already had our celebration with my sister and nieces and nephew and one thing cool was a bathrobe we got for my niece. Just so happened, the following day was pajama day and she didn't have a robe to wear with her pj's so it was perfect and she loved the robe.

    The best thing that happened this holiday season was finding a bigger and better apartment to move in to that would allow my mother to move in too as she recently had a stroke and I am now her caretaker.

    I have to work most of the holiday season (pretty much all of it) but I'm grateful for a good job that pays enough to support my kids and I treasure the time i am able to spend with them - especially since many still serving have to be away from home.

    My grown 2 sons gave me the gift of relaxation on Christmas Day for a change in pace. They completely did All of the holiday shopping, prepping for dinner, cooking the dinner and the after dinner cleanup! I have never had so much fun watching someone cook a dinner up. :)

    My 13 yo has been wanting contacts for a long time and we were able to set up an appointment and gift them to him for Christmas. He is so excited and has sunglasses set out to use after the appointment tomorrow. I am so happy for him, I remember getting contacts for the first time after having to wear glasses from the 3rd grade on.

    I am so Thankful I got to share this last Christmas with my Grandmother. The snow fell and she cant take a chance of falling so I took over to her house. She was like a kid in the candy store opening her gifts. Nicest lady ever and never has a bad thing to say about anyone, I think she can pull out of it and come back guys but she needs power in numbers. Prayer has gotten her thru alot. She went unresponsive and if you pray Id like to ask because she needs your prayers so much.XOXOXOXO

    Every year my kids and I make cinnamon rolls from scratch together on Christmas Eve, refrigerate overnight and then bake on Christmas morning. It's always fun and makes warm memories and Christmas morning a little sweeter (and easier). This year we gave some to my husband's parents to pop in the oven on Christmas morning also (they are elderly and one is disabled so it made their Christmas morning easier and sweeter too)

    It was my first grandchild's first Christmas. After the tragedy our family went through the first of 2017, having her has been a huge blessing. As an added bonus, we found out that another of our daughter's is expecting!

    The best thing about this past holiday season was a surprise visit from my daughter, who lives on the West Coast. She hasn't made it home for the holidays in years because she has been a retail store manager, and they do NOT get holidays off! But she recently moved and has not yet started a new job, so she took the time to come for a little while.
