ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas tradition is attending the Misa De Gallo/Simbang Gabi, a novena of dawn masses which is from December 16 to 24. My whole family has been doing that for several years now and it is something we always look forward to every Christmas.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas tradition is picking our secret santa exchange on Thanksgiving, we put the adult names in a bowl and only need to buy 1 presents costiing $50 or less. We always get kids in the family gifts.
ReplyDeleteWe have a fairly new tradition. My WHOLE family spends the night at my sister's house Christmas Eve night! We stay up late and play board games and drink a little. We have a blast! God bless and Happy Holidays everyone!

When I am not working, we spend Christmas Eve with family and then Christmas morning is for us at home with the kids. Jammies all day and snacking on leftovers is a must.

My favorite tradition is when our elf Jack brings 24 individually wrapped books and leaves under the tree on December 1st...with instructions for him to open 1 book each night for bedtime story. When they are gone...its Christmas and we get some great new books to read!

ReplyDeleteWell, it used to be opening presents. One on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning. NOW--- Gracie is finicky. She only wants money, so she can shop the after Christmas sales. So, now we do scavenger hunts. She has to hunt for $1, $5, $10 and $20 Bills all over the house until she reaches the amount I have listed and I never tell her how much it is. She LOVES it!

ReplyDeleteOne of our newer Christmas traditions is to watch the free light show at the local outdoor mall. My husband and I go once alone, then we go other times with friends and family. It is set to the music of Trans Siberian Orchestra and is about 10 minutes long.
