What I Earned in 2011 - Week 18


One of my goals for the year is to keep track of all the extra money I make from reading emails, taking surveys and collecting Swag Bucks.  Now I know this will not seem like much, but keep in mind the little things really do add up over the course of a year and $5 or $10 here and there can pay for some of the fun stuff. 

After a couple of slow weeks I received payouts from a couple of survey companies I belong to which helped boost my week.  I need the extra $$ now that it is garage sale season!

Here's what I earned this past week: 

$5.00 Amazon e-gift card from Swag Bucks ($105 for the year so far!)
$20.00 check from Toluna Opinion Polls
$5.00 check from Synovate

Total for the week $ 30.00

Total for 2011 $ 461.25

    Hi! What a great blog! I'm a frugal Mama, so this is great! As far as fun money, I get it a few different ways. I do paid surveys online through a few different websites. We have a BP credit card which gives FANTASTIC cashback rewards, especially with gas prices being as high as they are. We get 5% on all gas purchases from BP, 2% for dining/hotels/recreation, and 1% for everything else! It adds up really fast. Lastly, I use Mr.Rebates. We get money back on products that we were going to be buying anyway from a ton of online stores! Check that out here:Mr. Rebates
