grocery stores in my area are using the first hour to open for only senior citizens so they can get their items in a freshly cleaned, not crowded store.
ReplyDeleteIn my neighborhood and the surrounding ones people are sharing supplies (like toilet paper and paper towels) since those items are mostly nonexistent on the grocery shelves. Let me say just one thing folks...the bubonic plague it ain't. Stop listening to the media and rely on the facts. 80% of those who are infected don't even need to see a doctor. They have mild flu-like symptoms that can be treated at home. There is a need for caution not for panic

ReplyDeleteMy sister lives in an apartment by herself (in Budapest). She casually knows the family next door - mom, dad, 2 small kids. Last week, the mom knocked on my sister's door - asking for prayer and also if she could just sit in her apartment for some alone time. She's home with the 2 and 5 year olds all day alone - so in the evening, she needs a break. She was also struggling with anxiety for the first time in her life and said she knows it makes her be short-tempered with the boys. My sister prayed with the mom - and offered her apartment as a place to escape. My sister also babysat the kids one day so the mom could chill in her room for an hour with no interruptions!
