Even though it feels like Halloween just happened it is the middle of November already and Thanksgiving is next week. I try my best to keep the holidays from overlapping each other, but regardless it won't be long before we're putting up our Christmas decorations and making lists. If you're not in the Christmas spirit yet there is a movie coming out this weekend that will help.
In Sony Pictures Animation's The Star movie, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a loveable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told - the first Christmas.
I like the idea of sharing this special story from the animals point of view and the movie features of ton of talented vocal actors. It should be a great one to watch with the entire family. Plus the soundtrack features new Christmas songs from Mariah Carey!
