My daughter is a typical preschooler and loves to color any chance she gets. She would also rather color with pens and markers than the crayons she's normally allowed to color with. So she was excited when I showed her the tote bag and fabric markers from ColorTime and said she could color on it. Each item you receive from ColorTime will have instructions that come with it. For the tote bag it just states that a paper towel inside the bag is sufficient to keep the color from bleeding through. We didn't have any problems with that.
My daughter colored until her heart was content. There is plenty of free space on the canvas and she'll be able to come back to the tote bag and color some more when she's ready. Then we'll have nice reusable tote bag to use at the market and she'll love that we're using one of her creations.
ColorTime offers a wide variety of products including tee shirts, bandanas and pillowcases in addition to the tote bags and backpacks. You can also get fabric markers in bold and bright colors. It's nice you can buy the markers individually if you are only needing a certain color or two.
ColorTime also has a nice selection of free printable coloring pages available on their site. Just register and choose the ones you'd like to receive the PDF file via email.
Be sure to come back and check out my Keeping Kids Creative giveaway for your chance to win two "Recycle" tote bags and a set of markers from ColorTime!
