I'm not even remotely ready for Christmas, but even so I'm still thinking ahead to January and the start of the new year. Fitness goals often make up New Year's resolutions and I'm no exception. Ever since having my youngest child I have a desire to be fit that is never quite matched with action. Our busy schedule is just one of my excuses and not having the equipment I want to use at home is another. The excuse is flimsier now because I'm slowly acquiring things that make a home workout simpler. Most recently I received the Forever Flex stability ball from Live Infinitely.
The Forever Flex exercise ball comes ready to be inflated with the included hand air pump. It also comes with an extra air plug and valve remover tool, so you should be good to go once you get it. My hubby had it inflated in no time for me, so the pump seemed to work well. It's recommended that you inflate the ball to about 80% of its size and then allow the ball to stretch for 24 hours before inflating to its final diameter. When you order your ball there are multiple sizes to choose from. If you're going to use it as a chair they recommend one of the larger sizes. I'm using mine for exercise so I ordered the 55cm diameter ball based on my height.
The exercise ball is made from durable grade latex free PVC material and is extremely strong and durable. It has the ability to support over 2200 pounds. I won't ever have the need to test that out though. It has been anti-burst tested. It has non slip ridges and a surface that is easy to clean. I have three kiddos at home who want to play with the ball like it's their new toy, so it's important to me that this ball can stand up to their rough-housing and sticky, messy hands.
This is an extremely busy time of the year for me as a blogger. There are an endless amount of deals to post and holiday gifts to review. It's rare that I take the time I should to exercise beyond my runs that I squeeze in. However, I was introduced to yoga earlier this year and I'm anxious to get back into a regular routine of adding that into the mix.
