I was able to select some Lugz footwear for my family to try out. I decided to get my oldest son a pair of boots because he's never had any boots other than snow boots. I chose the Boys Drifter boots for him. I thought they would make a good choice for scouting activities, hiking and basic everyday wear. They'll also be a nice to have on days like today when it's rainy and wet out and will protect his feet better than tennis shoes.
My son likes how comfortable the boots are and thought they felt good. They do have a cushioned insole. I like the style of them on him. I think they look good when paired with jeans.
The boots also have a durable outsole so they should hold up to whatever he puts them through. Lugz does recommend regular cleaning and proper care to help keep your shoes or boots durable. You can do this just by using a damp cloth with mild soap.
