Brooklyn Bean Extravaganza: Mexican Hot Cocoa K-Cup Giveaway #brooklynbeanroastery

Our Iowa winter is in full force with cold temperatures and even colder wind chill values. It's the type of weather where you just want to hunker down with a good book and a mug of cocoa and forget about the wind howling outside. However, I have two kids who are still quite active in the winter so we still have to go out in the cold to swim lessons, gymnastics classes and basketball games. When we get in for the night we're happy to have a warm up.  I like to warm up and get my chocolate fix with a mug of hot cocoa.  I love milk chocolate, but really enjoy trying different flavors.  I'm happy to report that Mexican Hot Cocoa from Brooklyn Bean is a new favorite.


Mexican chocolates are known for containing spices like cinnamon and chilies to create an intense flavor.  The Mexican Hot Cocoa from Brooklyn Bean has both of these flavors and really makes the taste unique.  Some might think the Mexican Hot Cocoa is a little spicy.  I love spicy things, but I didn't think this cocoa was actually spicy.  I tasted a lot of the cinnamon flavor. It satisfies all chocolate cravings when put to task and has a great aroma when brewed. 


Brooklyn Beans' Mexican Hot Cocoa is available in K-Cups for your Keurig brewer. They are not currently compatible with Keurig 2.0, but all the Brooklyn Beans Roastery coffee will be by end of February. I love being able to just pop it in and know that I'm getting just the right amount of flavor in my beverage.
