One icky catastrophe can
easily turn into a hilarious party story or top-ick of parent-to-parent
chatter. The Clorox® Ick-tionary captures the icky every day and over-the-top
situations that everyone can relate to; from circumstances surrounding the
unpleasantness of life’s #1’s and #2’s (and sometimes #3’s) to things like
applesauce on the ceiling (how?). This online, interactive forum at
www.icktionary.com officially brings together the new language of mess,
including how to conquer and laugh about them, all brought to you by ick
survivors and parents who have been there and cleaned that.
As a parent I discover something icky just about every day
in my house, car or on a piece of clothing.
There is really no escaping it.
The ick level varies from little pieces of torn up paper that just annoy
the heck out of me to messy areas around the toilet bowls from toddlers who
just aren't that careful to the nasty black spots on the kitchen floor that
always turn up the day after we've mopped.
In fact I've come up with a name for the mystery spots I find all of the
kitchen counter, table and floor. I call
them "stickygooitis". The
most common culprits of "stickygooitis" at our house are often
spilled juice and wet candy.
I submitted the word "stickygooitis" to the new CloroxIck-tionary. The Ick-tionary was created
to help name all of the messes Clorox has been helping us clean up over the
years. I'm sure you can relate to my dark mystery
spots and probably have many a mess of your own to share with Clorox. Head over to the Clorox Ick-tionary to see
the collection. You may get a little
grossed out. (I'm thankful I've never
had to deal with "Foop"). I promise though you'll be in for a laugh and
it's great to know we're not alone in these things. You can also share you own word with Clorox
and even better find the Clorox products that will help clean up the mess.
While you're there be sure to print the coupon to Save $0.75
off any Clorox product (while supplies last). Play the Match the Mess
game and you could win a $25 Visa card. There will be 370 winners! Promotion ends June 30th.
