Carter's Watch the Wear Review & Giveaway


I love shopping for clothes for my kids.  I never consider it a chore and I can browse both in stores and online for a long while before I tire of it.  I get very excited to discover new brands or in this case get reintroduced to a brand that's been around for over 150 years.  Since overalls were first invented in 1859 by Abigail Carter the Carter's company has maintained a focus on quality and value.  The Carter's Watch the Wear label stays true to those original core values.

 Carter's Watch the Wear makes clothes for boy and girl infants and toddlers and girls up to size 6x.  The clothes are designed to be stylish, comfortable for daily wear and play, and durable enough to last.  Plus these clothes are very affordable with multi-piece outfits selling for less than $19.99 and usually much less.

I selected this cute Hello Kitty outfit for my daughter to wear.  I knew she would love it because of she adores Hello Kitty, loves the color purple and is a fan of anything that sparkles.

 I think it's super cute on her and it fits great.  Little Miss is turning 4 in January and I selected a size 4T for her.  She is slightly petite, but the 4 is about perfect.  You can see she has a little length in the arms and legs, so she'll be able to wear the outfit for a while.  She had it on all day Sunday from church to the store to Grandma's house and back and she never complained about it or wanted it off.  She was constantly moving so I know it was comfortable on her and it's proved to be durable having been washed a couple of times already.  The back is cute too and I love the little details like the bow and the Hello Kitty on the leg.

    I love clothes that are of good quality, cute, and are versatile (Shirts that you can match with different pants, pants that can match with more than one shirt, etc). I love Carters!

    I look for things that are cute and comfortable! Durability isn't so important being that my daughter can only wear clothes at the most for 6 months now, but soon durability will also be a huge factor.

    I look for quality clothes that won't fall apart after washing or playing. I like cute things; love finding girl's clothing that isn't all pink. I don't mind paying a bit extra for quality clothes, but it is nice to find things reasonably priced for what it is.

    I like clothes that run true to size and aren't made overly thin. So many clothes made today are ultra thin and cost just as much as the 'old' thicker versions. That drives me nuts!
