Frugal Tuesday Tip - MP3s on a Dime
I was preparing for a road trip recently and part of my prep included downloading some new music to my iPod for the car ride. I started out at iTunes as I usually do and checked out the price of a couple new songs I wanted - they were $1.29 each. As I was about to buy these songs it hit me that I needed to check out Amazon MP3s for these songs. They were both newer songs and I found them both on Amazon for only $0.69. That's a 60 cent savings per song! I have forgotten to look at Amazon in the past so this is my reminder to you to make sure you shop around even for your MP3 downloads. Now I still love iTunes, especially all the free music they make available on Tuesdays, so definitely remember to check that out too. Last week I got a Christina Perri song for free and in the past I've gotten a Jack Johnson video and tons of other songs that were new at the time and then became big hits.
