Here is my tip of the week! Pull the plug on appliances when not in use. A big energy waster are cell phone chargers that use power whenever they are plugged in regardless of if they are being used or not. Be sure to pull the plug when not in use to save. We also unplug other appliances around the house when not in use and if we know something like our TV or computer will not get used for an extended period of time we unplug that as well. An easy way to save energy for a lot those hard to reach outlets is to use a power strip with a power switch on it. That way you can flip the switch off easily and reduce the elictricity being used.
