I grew up by the river, so Dog Days in the summer here is when the creek all but dries up and you can't swim because of all the bacteria!

I never complain about the heat. I think of the sub-zero temps of winter and just enjoy.

The weather! We are currently having the worst drought ever where I live! We have a few days of high 80s/90s normally each summer...but we've had like weeks of them already !

It isn't the dog days of summer here yet. It's been breezy in nor cal and I need a jacket at night. We usually warm up in September/October.
