Recipe ~ Rotini with Turkey Meatballs & Green Olives

Here's a recipe we don't make very often, but it's nice to have for something different. If you love green olives it's a must try.

Rotini with Turkey Meatballs & Green Olives

2 c. rotini pasta
l lb. ground turkey
1/4 c. oatmeal
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 T. vegetable oil
1 can cream of celery soup
4 oz. cream cheese
3/4 c. sliced green olives

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Prepare greased baking dish.  Cook pasta, drain and set aside.  Combine turkey, oatmeal, worcestershire sauce and seasonings in bowl to fix meatballs.

Heat oil in medium skillet over high heat.  Add meatballs in single layer.  Cook until lightly browned on all sides and still pink in centers, turning frequently.  Remove from skillet and drain on paper towel.

Mix soup and cream cheese in large bowl.   Add cooked pasta, meatballs and olives.  Stir gently to combine.  Transfer to baking dish.  Bake for 30 minutes covered.  Uncover and back an additional 10 minutes until meat is fully cooked.
