We have snow nearly every day during the winter months. We did have the weird fake spring days like almost everywhere else though. I plan on getting into my warm comfortable clothing as soon as I get home, it gets me through the cold, bleary snow filled days.
ReplyDeleteIt snowed earlier this week but a majority has melted. For me, I try to appreciate the beauty of a winter wonderland... and also I stock up on ice melter & rock salt!

We have two additional inches of snow today.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't snow here very often. I'm thankful because I'm a flip flop kind of girl.
ReplyDeleteWe sometimes get snow, but it's always for a short time and so it doesn't cause particular problems...We I go skiing in the mountain, the only way to make it bareable is warm clothes when I step outside and super hot chocolate when I stay inside!

ReplyDeleteWe always get snow in my area of NY typically from the end of October until mid-April. We have snow on the ground now. It was melting pretty well until the other day when we had a small storm pass through. We got snow tonight on my way to work too. I make it bearable by staying indoors with a cup of hot tea or cocoa and a warm blanket. I am not a fan of the bitter cold.
ReplyDeleteWe live in Maine, so it's a big 10-4 on the snow over here and the only thing you can really do to tolerate it is to make sure your wearing layers! Thanks so much for the chance!

ReplyDeleteWe don't have any snow right now but expecting "a wintery mix" tonight. It seems that with the snow I become more food obsessed so I try to change up my diet. While comfort food sounds great during those first few weeks of winter, packing on heavy meals for months on end takes a toll on the body — combined with seasonal affective disorder, this makes winter literally depressing for me. So I reference some of my favorite warm weather recipes and creatively modify based on what’s in season.

Yes, we have about 8 inches of snow on the ground right now, with a few more inches predicted in the next day or two. It is also very cold! I like to curl up by the gas fireplace with a good book and a cup of coffee and look at the snow. It is very tolerable from the inside!

I live in the Polar Vortex zone so we've gotten lots of snow. I actually enjoy Winter......probably because I don't have to drive in it.
