Santa Bruce is a children's board book that was released earlier this fall. The story by Ryan T. Higgins puts his grumpy bear character Bruce in another situation he is not at all happy about. The forest animals have decided that he is Santa so of course he should listen to what everyone wants for Christmas and then deliver the presents too.
About the Book:
Bruce is a lot of things. He is a bear. He is a grump. He is a pretty decent cook. And he is a mother.
One thing Bruce is not?
Santa Claus.
But that doesn't stop the whole forest from lining up to give him their Christmas wishes when he becomes the victim of mistaken identity-again.
The illustrations are also done by Ryan and are a lot fun. The hardcover book is 48 pages, so there is a lot going on in the story. The pictures show the wide variety of forest animals that visit Bruce. There's so much to take in when reading the story especially when everyone is together having a Christmas feast. Like in 1 Grumpy Bruce the bear's facial expressions in each scene are really great.
This book is recommended for kids ages 4 to 7. It's perfect for fans of the Bruce character and a great addition to your Christmas book collection. It would make a nice gift for a preschooler or kindergartner.
