I am likely going to spend a few days at a Ribfest. Lots of music, carnival rides, fun events, fireworks, a petting zoo (!), games, and so on. ...I'm a vegetarian, but I'll still have fun. :)

We host an annual bbq with fireworks after a day of hanging out with family and friends around the deck or in the pool.

ReplyDeleteMy son will be 9 months on June 25th... so I'm excited to be celebrating his first 4th of July. I have his baby's first outfit that says, "my first red, white, and blue". We're going to my my brother's house where we will watch his Uncle Jesse light off some fireworks.

Our town has a town wide garage sale we are participating in this year. We will also be going to a local fair and watching fireworks. Busy but fun day.

I am watching the fireworks from my parent's lake this year.

ReplyDeleteWell, the 4th is only 10 days away, and I'm working a really weird shift at work these days, so it's entirely possible I'll be asleep during fireworks. So I'm not planning anything. I do intend to enjoy my day off, though!

ReplyDeleteEvery year it's pretty much the same. In the AM we go to our town's annual parade, then off to the lake to look at the vendor's booths and get something really fattening to eat and them fireworks in the PM!

I've been at home on bed rest but my hubby and son have had an awesome day including the parade and the little carnival that is set up in our town for the Holiday.
