It's officially my favorite month of the year!  I love the month of October. There are so many fun things to do this month.  We still have soccer games, football games and final trips to the farmers market, but I'm also looking forward to a trip to the pumpkin patch, taking fall hikes and going trick-or-treating with the kiddos.  It's also a special month for me because it's my birthday month!  Last year I decided to celebrate my birthday month with all of you and I had a lot of fun.  I hope you did too, because we are going to do it again this year!     I love the sky in October. It can go from crystal clear to overcast to haunting. It can take your breath away, and can make you pull your car over to the side of the highway on your way home from church and take photos even though you thought you wanted to rush home and bake brownies while catching up on the last two weeks of Real Housewives.

    October is awesome! Not only for the beautiful moon, but the start of a wonderful season. Most of my friend's birthdays are in October, including mine. But the best and furthermost part of October is Halloween, when everyone can be anyone they want without being judged. Wished every day was Halloween.

    I love October because it's a great time to go for long hikes with my husband and my two Yorkies. The cooler weather allows for longer distances. Plus you get to burn more calories on longer walk!

    My toddler daughter loves this month so much- Halloween, pumpkins everywhere, candy and other excited children. I love it because she does! College football really ramps up this month, too!
