We grill all year long but summer is really when our grill sees the most action from hamburgers to brats and whichever one we're eating there is going to be mustard on the table. This summer we've been enjoying a brand of mustard that is new to us and pretty new all over the country. Mustard Girl All American Mustards is a company that produces mustard in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. It's been around for over 5 years, but just this past spring it made its debut in major grocery stores including Target stores nationwide and Whole Foods.
Mustard Girl Mustards are all-natural, contain no preservatives, are gluten-free, fat-free, low in sodium, Kosher and contain no high fructose corn syrup. Mustard Girl Mustards are known for their distinctive fresh, bold flavor and are available in five varieties: Sweet N' Spicey Honey, Stoneground Deli, Sweet N' Fancy Yellow, American Dijon and Zesty Horseradish.
We received all five flavors to try and have been enjoying them. We do have our favorites. Their Sweet N' Fancy Yellow Mustard is their most traditional mustard and I was advised that kids love it. My daughter definitely did. It's her go to mustard for hamburgers and hot dogs right now and it is a great tasting mustard. The Sweet N' Spicey Honey Mustard is their original flavor that started it all. It's really good with pretzels I think. I love horseradish flavor and their Zesty Horseradish delivers on that flavor. I expected it to be somewhat spicy though and it really wasn't so that might be a good thing for those who want the flavor without the heat. The one that underwhelmed us one the American Dijon. I think we just need to use it in a different way such as making tuna salad so that is what we're going to do next with it. My personal favorite of all the mustards is their Stoneground Deli. I love meat and cheese sandwiches and this mustard adds so much flavor. It's delicious. It's even pretty to look at in my opinion.
Definitely be on the look out for Mustard Girl Mustards when you're at the store. You can also order the mustard online if that is easier by visiting mustardgirl.com. You can also learn more or connect with them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
