End of Summer Fun at Monkey Joe's and $2 Off Admission

We had a pretty great summer if I do say so myself.  I think how fast it flew by was a good indication of the amount of fun that was had.  My kids got to do a lot of different things to keep busy.  One of the places that helped entertained them was Monkey Joe's.  We were invited to come for our visit, so I jumped at the chance.  My kids love inflatables and it had been a little while since we had last been there.  

Monkey Joe's is an inflatable-filled indoor play and party center that provides families with activities for all day, every day. The West Des Moines Monkey Joe's location is at 1600 Valley West Drive, Ste 200 across from Valley West Mall. It is regularly open Monday - Saturday from 10am - 8pm and Sunday from 11am - 6pm. 

Monkey Joe's is great for all kids 12 years-old and younger.  My big kids were ready to bounce and jump and soon as we got there so they were off to find the big slides. Monkey Joe's has separate Mini Monkey Zone for toddlers two and under, so even my youngest could have some fun.   Because Monkey Joe's has its own Access Child Control System to create a safe environment for kids to play I was fine knowing my big kids were together while I hung out with baby boy. Children receive wrist bands matching them to their parent. These wrist bands are adhered from the minute the child steps into Monkey Joe's, and are checked by Monkey Joe's employees upon exiting the facility. 

The CDC recommends children should 60 minutes of exercise per day. With the shifts from extreme heat to rainy days we've had this summer playing outside wasn't always an option. Monkey Joe's is the perfect solution as it provides a fun indoor option for the whole family to get moving.

My kids favorite thing to do at Monkey Joe's was racing each other on the obstacle course.  My oldest also loved shooting some hoops on another inflatable.  My kids enjoyed their visit and Monkey Joe's is definitely on our list of places to go when the boredom strikes and / or the Iowa weather strikes.
