New Costume ~ Boy's Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord Review

Halloween may be months away, but I am always thinking about what the kids will enjoy dressing up as.  I knew I couldn't go wrong with this classic Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord costume. Last year's surprise box office smash Guardians of the Galaxy was also a hit in my house.  My son is the biggest fan and he is excited that there is going to be a sequel to the movie he enjoyed so much.  I didn't even tell my son I had ordered this costume for him.  I took an educated guess and I was right because he loves it!

The Star Lord costume includes the coat and mask.  Note that although a gun is pictured it is sold separately.  There are also no pants or shoes included.  That's okay though because the coat colors make it super easy to pair up with some dark pants or jeans and dark tennis shoes or boots will work great.  My son liked the coat, but he got super excited when he saw the mask.  That's what really sold him on it.  He said he liked how the mask stayed where it belonged so the eyes were in the right spot.  He's had trouble with other costumes with not being able to see out of the mask.  Personally I liked the back for its continued detailing. My son is 8, but it is little for his age so I ordered him a size medium for ages 5-7.  I'd say it's true to size because Mr T usually wears size 7 right now.  They also have the costume available in small and large.
