There have been multiple studies done to show the benefits of music on your child’s advanced learning and ability to pick up new skills. One study showed that regardless of socioeconomic status or school district, (3rd graders) who participate in high-quality music programs scored higher on reading and spelling tests, amazing right?
Music was such an important part of childhood starting in elementary school all the way through high school. I had so many wonderful opportunities because of my involvement with our vocal music program. I know that my love for music has been passed onto my kids. I just hope that the music education they are receiving now doesn't get pushed to the background because I understand how important it is for them and their all around development.
