Do you know what the number one thing on my 8-year old son's Christmas wish list is this year?  A new camera.  And this kid is not talking about any little point and shoot camera he wants to the real deal.  His uncle is a professional photographer and my son sees his pictures printed in the paper, so of course he wants that kind of camera.  We actually only own one decent camera ourselves and really tend to take more pictures on our phones than anywhere else so we could definitely use an upgrade.  Maybe my son would be happy if we had one we'd share with him??

All of these cameras come with built-in Wi-Fi so you can share your pictures easily.  I love this feature and it's awesome that we could possibly use our smartphone to control some of the camera's functionality.  The most important thing to me though is that reassurance that the pictures we take will be stored safely so our memories can be protected.  This is a feature that I'm definitely going to want in the next camera we buy.
