Fuel Your Morning with Quaker Breakfast Shakes ~ $25 Walmart Gift Card Giveaway #QuakerShakes

This post contains sponsored content.

Our family recently went through a big change when our third child was born just about three weeks ago.  Having a newborn in the house has definitely made things interesting and lots of fun, but it has also meant a lot of our old routines have gone out the window.  Add to that the warmer temperatures and kids wanting to be up later at night and this equals morning chaos.  My hubby is usually out the door now before anyone else is up so that means I have three people to make breakfast for and a newborn to feed.  Most days my daughter and son want breakfast at different times and then there's me trying to squeeze in a shower and breakfast for myself before Mr. P is ready to be fed, or changed or just comforted.  Quaker understands that not all of us have time to eat in the morning even when we know how important it is for us to fuel our body at that time.  That's why they make breakfast on the go convenient with their Breakfast Shakes.

Quaker Breakfast Shakes come in three delicious flavors.  My personal favorite is chocolate of course, but you can also get them in Strawberry and Vanilla. (My daughter loved the strawberry).  The shakes are great because they really are incredibly smooth and not chalky in any way.  You would never guess that each shake is blended with 8g of wholegrains.   To me that is an added benefit to the 10g of protein they contain.  I try to always have protein for breakfast so if I don't have time for my peanut butter toast then one of these shakes works great as a substitute and is just as filling.  I'm never left feeling like I need any other snacks in the morning.

Since I'm dealing with less sleep than normal and I'm still trying to limit my caffeine intake I've found these shakes also make great snack substitutes in the afternoon.  On days when I'm feeling sluggish I can drink one of these shakes to give myself a little boost.

Quaker Breakfast Shakes are available at Walmart and other select grocery stores.  Be sure to print your coupon to Save $2.00 on any one 4-pack of Quaker Breakfast Shakes.

The Giveaway:  Thanks to Quaker one lucky winner will receive a $25 Walmart gift card so they can try Quaker Breakfast Shakes for themselves. Enter via the rafflecopter form below.  Good luck!

  2. My daughter is grown so I don't have any more kids in the house. I remember hectic mornings though. I would do everything she needed to take to school done the night before. Then we could relax and eat breakfast together. I was a single mom so it was nice to eat with her in the mornings. These shakes look really good. I'm going to walmart to Easter shop so I may have to buy a couple of these to try. Thank you for the great giveaway :)

Ugh. . . my mornings. . . my 3 1/2 yr old has thankfully quit coming in and waking me up at 4am since I had a talk with her about waiting for daylight. . . now at the FIRST signs of light, she comes running in, throws open my blinds and says "wake up ! It's DAYLIGHTS!" . Hubby gets in the shower, and the noise wakes up both my 1 1/2 yr old and the cat. . . who both instantly start complaining that breakfast is not in front of them yet. . I make breakfast for cat, hubs, and kids, get lunch ready for hubs, then I am instantly bombarded with the 1 1/2 yr old wanting to play outside and my daughter wanting a craft. . . . I often forget to do things like eat breakfast and brush my teeth until well past 10 am :o

  189. I get up about 20 minutes earlier than my daughter. I get her lunch packed and then get her up to shower. By the time she is out of the shower, I have her breakfast ready, and after she eats, we leave for the bus stop. If I have to work, I get ready when I come back from the bus stop.

  190. Planning and caffeine. :) Sometimes luck. This morning I left the house with all my makeup on except mascara. Oops!
