GE reveal Light Bulbs Lighting Makeover and Target Gift Card Giveaway #GEreveal

Product was received in exchange for this post.

One of the challenges I face when working at home is simply lack of a proper work space.  Before kids we had a designated office that shifted from one room to another until there were no rooms left and my office ended up being in my bedroom.  My bedroom desk is my command station loaded with my computers, lots of notes and several items pending review. When I'm working I need lots of light especially since a lot of my work is done during the evening hours.  I also take a lot of photographs in this room since it is my primary work space.  I want those pictures to turn out well and am not always thrilled with the yellowish toned images that I often end up with.   I was excited when the folks at GE reveal Lighting contacted me to do a room makeover with their reveal bulbs.  Although my bedroom is not the focal point of our house it is still a place that ends up being photographed often and having decent lighting will make a big impact.  It was the perfect room to start with.
Before GE reveal Lighting
After GE reveal Lighting
As you can see from the images above using the GE reveal lighting removed the dingy yellow tones from the room and helped the whites and other colors appear brighter.  One of the major changes I noted in the room was in our wedding photograph on the wall behind our bed.  I love the picture because it has the gorgeous blue stained glass in the background.  Using regular bulbs the blue vanished from the scene but with GE reveal bulbs the color stands out.

Check out the video below and see how other tastemakers who depend on the best lighting possible for their craft complete a GE reveal® quick and easy makeover and share their experience.
