Pop it! Top It! Candy Coated Popcorn Review

Product was received in exchange for this post.

If you love your popcorn like my family does you will love this next product I got a chance to try out recently.  Pop it! Top It! is a candy coated popcorn snack that takes just minutes to make.  Pop it Top It is a kit that contains some microwave popcorn, a packet of candy coating and another packet of special topping.  Snickerdoodle is the current flavor available.

I thought it would be fun to make this for my son for a special after-school snack on an especially chilly afternoon.  I emptied out the contents of my kit to get started.  My daughter was my little helper and she was most excited about the white chocolate candy coating.

After the popcorn was popped and poured into a bowl we used a glass measuring cup to melt the candy coating in a microwave.  We did this for 30 seconds at a time repeating until the coating was completely melted and smooth.

Then I drizzled the candy coating over the popcorn and mixed it gently in the bowl.  The next step was to pour the packet of the "top secret" Snickerdoodle topping and mix some more.  The Snickerdoodle topping smelled heavenly. We love cinnamon around here so it definitely hit the spot.

My son was home by the time we spread out the popcorn on some wax paper to cool off.  The kids really couldn't wait for it to cool completely and were diving in for a taste.  They loved it and really couldn't stop eating it.  As soon as it was cooled I moved it into a bowl so their dad could be sure to try some too.

Pop it! Top It! is our kind of snack and we loved the flavor and the crunch.  This bowl full was gone in no time between the four of us with the kids each having more than their fair share.  I loved that it was a way to make popcorn which we always love even more special and I loved how quick and easy it was.  I can't wait to make it again even though I know it won't last long.

  62. This popcorn reminds me of a popcorn I used to buy all the time but can't find it anymore. It was Mallow Magic by Jolly Time. It was so good. The closest I've gotten to it was regular Kettle Corn since it's sweet. This Pop It Top It Snickerdoodle popcorn seems like it would be so good. I love the sound of white chocolate and candy coating. It makes me wonder what the Snickerdoodle flavor bits taste like.
