I've been fortunate to work with Gorton's several times over the past couple of years. I have discovered many new dinner time favorites because of this opportunity and this is coming from a girl who had always said I didn't care for seafood. I now love Gorton's Skillet Crisp Tilapia and Potato Crunch Fillets and I'm looking forward to trying more products including their Crispy Battered Fish Fillets and their Beer Battered Tenders.
My kids love Gorton's Fish Sticks and these have become a staple in our freezer. We always keep them on hand so we can offer them for lunches or a dinner substitute for my picky eater son. I love that we can heat the fish sticks in our toaster oven quickly and they stay crunchy and tasty.
If you're looking for some inspiration for how to prepare your Gorton's seafood you can visit Gorton's Recipe section and you'll find a number of easy meals and snacks that will become family favorites. I spotted these Halloween Witch Finger Fish Sticks that I thought would be a lot of fun these season. My daughter loves all three of the ingredients so this is sure to be a hit!
Witch Finger Fish Sticks:
INGREDIENTS:
18 Gorton's Crunchy Golden Fish Sticks
9 black olives, halved lengthwise
3 oz cream cheese, softened
DIRECTIONS:
1. Prepare Gorton's Crunchy Golden Fish Sticks according to package instructions.
2. Spread 1 tsp cream cheese along tops of cooked stick, place olive on top to resemble 'finger' and serve immediately.
2. Spread 1 tsp cream cheese along tops of cooked stick, place olive on top to resemble 'finger' and serve immediately.
The Sweepstakes: Remember that you can enter the Gorton's "Wicked Good Seafood" Sweepstakes thru October 18th for your chance to win a family trip to Boston!
The Giveaway: Thanks to Gorton's one lucky winner will receive three $2 off coupons, 1 Gorton's branded ship wheel keychain and an assortment of Gorton's recipe cards and postcards.
