The newest product from Purex is a powerful stain-fighting liquid detergent. I put the Purex plus Oxi detergent to the test and I have to stay it did a great job removing stains. One of my daughter's shirts had a BBQ sauce stain that disappeared. My son's load was full of mystery stains that I'm not always able to identify, but I couldn't even notice after the wash. Then of course my husband's work sweatshirts and jeans that are coated in dirt and sometimes mud are always a great test. The Purex plux Oxi removed the dirt stains.
Purex plus Oxi has a hypoallergenic formula. We don't have any skin sensivity issues that I'm aware of in my family and had no issues with this detergent. The liquid I received was the Fresh Morning Burst scent and I will say that it does leaves a noticeable scent on the laundry. When I was removing my loads from the washer to the dryer I could definitely smell it. It was pleasant smell though and I didn't mind the fresh clean scent. The detergent has been formulated to work with both high efficiency washers and traditional washing machines.
If you like to pretreat your stains then this detergent works great that way too. Just rub a little Purex plus Oxi onto the stain and let sit before washing.
