Children's Book Review ~ Little Super from Paper Hat Press

Paper Hat Press creates beautiful and fun personalized storybooks for children.  I recently had the chance to create a book for my son.  T. is a fan of superheroes, so when I saw the book "Little Super" I knew he would enjoy it.  In the book's description it states "Celebrate all the ways your child saves the day..." and "Little Super" does just that.

It is very simple to create your book.  First visit Paper Hat Press and select one of their hardcover books.  Currently they have 6 available:  "Christmas Mouse", "Little Big Top", "Whose Birthday Is It?", "Little Super", "Little Sparkle" and "Little Star".  The next step is to describe your child so the illustrations in the book share your child's skin tone, hair color, eye color and even hair style.  You can then add a dedication to the cover page of the book and share some personal information about your child.  It's a very quick and easy process for a personalized book that will also become a keepsake.

Our book arrived wrapped in paper with directions on folding it into your own paper hat.  T. and his dad had fun doing that together.

T. was actually more excited about reading the book though because when he opened it to the very first page he spotted a familiar word - his own name!  He was really anxious to look at the book and kept searching for his name again.  He was the first to spot the letter "T" on the boy's cape and thought that was very cool.  He loved hearing about himself in the story and liked seeing his sister's name too.   When the story read "ate yummy strawberries" he asked me how that was part of the story since strawberries are his favorite food.  His face lit up when we read the page that shared how he was "super in so many ways".  At the end of the story T. closed his eyes and smiled and "He felt super" and I can honestly say my son felt the same way after reading this story together.

T. loves this book and I do too.  I love that it has a hardcover and the pictures in it are lovely to look at.  Paper Hat Press books make a unique gift for any of your little ones who love books.
