LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer $79

Now that the LeapPad 2 has been released from LeapFrog they have the original LeapPad Explorer for only $79 on Amazon.  I'm debating getting one for my daughter for Christmas, but now need to decide between the LeapPad and LeapPad 2.
