The Complete First Season of Homeland was released on DVD today and you can get it right now on Amazon for only $19.99. We don't get Showtime, so we usually settle for watching shows a season or two behind on DVD. I've read a lot of great things about this one.
Homeland is a drama/thriller series that stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a Central Intelligence Agency officer and Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine. Mathison has come to believe that Brody, who was held captive by Al-Qaeda as a prisoner of war, was turned by the enemy and now threatens the United States. The series has received critical acclaim and won the 2011 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama.
