Big Fish Games Review & Giveaway

I spend a lot of time on my computer, more than I want to admit to, but one thing I haven't done on my PC in a long time is play games.  I've always liked computer games.  I have fond memories of Kings Quest when I was young and Solitaire when I needed to zone out.  Now that I have this blog to manage I have less time for play, but when I was contacted by Big Fish Games to review a game I thought it might be a fun thing to do with my son.   He's a big fan of playing kid-friendly games on our laptop. 

There are many popular games at Big Fish Games and it was hard to pick, but I decided to try Burger Shop 2.  I thought my son would have a fun time helping pick out menu items and if nothing else would enjoy the theme.  I had no idea how much fun we would have playing the game together.  He liked listening to me read the story line and I really liked when it was my turn to do the clicking and seeing how fast I could work to serve up the right menu items and keep the customers happy.

The only downside I found to playing Burger Shop 2 is that it can be a little addicting!  We had a few bedtimes pushed back as mom and boy were playing and just wanted to see what surprise the next level would bring. I think my son's favorite part at each level was deciding what item to add to the menu. He would always choose the sweet option before anything else!

It was very easy to navigate the Big Fish Games site and purchase the game.  If you're new to Big Fish you'll have to first download and install the Game Manager then download your game.  It was a simple process and didn't take too long.  My son even waited patiently while everything installed.  I can't comment on the game's graphics or sounds as I'm obviously no expert in that area. 

If you're looking for new games to play, Big Fish will surely have one for you.  The site has a large selection of games in multiple genres including puzzles, hidden object, time management, strategy and more.  If you want try it before buying Big Fish allows you to download a game and play a game for an hour free before buying.
