My Review:  I was sent a couple of coupons to try Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels.  My local grocery stores where I regularly shop don't carry Kim & Scott's right now, but I was able to locate the product at SuperTarget.  My store only had 2 varieties to choose from so it was an easy decision to try both the Pizza Pretzel and Grilled Cheese Pretzel flavors.

I had planned on making a couple for a late afternoon snack.  They ended up being so filling that I didn't need dinner that night.  (I even shared with my daughter!)  I followed the heating instructions for a conventional oven. I do like that you can microwave the pretzels, but I was home and had the time, so I used the oven.  After about 5 minutes a nice aroma filled the kitchen and we were ready to try them.  We had to wait about another 10 minutes though.  When they were done they were a delicious golden brown and the oven had made them a perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

I enjoyed both varieties and really couldn't pick a favorite between them.  The Pizza Pretzel had a lot more flavor because of the herbs and spices on the pretzel and in the sauce.  My only complaint would be that that pretzel didn't have as much filling as it appears to on the product package.

The Grilled Cheese pretzel had a soft and almost creamy texture on the inside.  It was a nice alternative to a grilled cheese and still had that comfort food appeal.  Pretzels aren't a usual snack for me, so it was really nice to try these and I would definitely try them again.  I'd love to try some of their other varieties some day - they have several others including Cheddar Jalepeno, Spinach Feta, Cream Cheese, Egg & Cheese, Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Crumb and Cinnamon Roll.  I think I would have to try something sweet next time!
