Here is my tip of the week!
I cringe when I hear other moms talk about how they have thrown away onesies or clothes because of a baby's diaper explosion. My mother-in-law taught me when I had my son to scrub a little Dawn dish soap on the stain then throw in with your regular laundry load. I just use an old toothbrush for the scrubbing and keep some Dawn under our bathroom sink. Dawn also works wonders on grease stains. Give it a try!
I love Dawn, and you are right, it is great for grease.
ReplyDeleteI don't have human babies anymore but live on a farm with animal babies. Just like human babes, they can be messy. I'll remember this tip at lambing time when my clothes get especially...well, never mind.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I've thrown away a bad blow out once before. Not because I didn't think I could get the stain out, but because I was so grossed out. If they weren't hand me downs I may have tried to suck it up. Horribly not frugal or me, but that's the truth. Thanks for the tip!
