SuperPretzel Softstix Review & Giveaway

Our family loves to snack and try new things, so we were happy to try out SuperPretzel Softstix from J&J Snack Foods for the first time recently.  We're fans of many SuperPretzel products and Softstix savory snacks are now officially added to that list. Softstix are bite size soft pretzels filled with cheese.  They come in three flavors: Cheddar Cheese, Nacho Cheese and new Buffalo Cheese.

I knew these were a hit early on because as soon as I opened the first package of Cheddar Cheese Softstix my hubby was making them for a nighttime snack.  He loves his snacks like the rest of us, but doesn't usually snack at night.  This was a sure sign that these pretzels were special.  My daughter and I had them for lunch as well, but honestly these pretzels are good just about anytime.  It helps that they are super easy to make quickly. We put several in our toaster oven and they are ready in no time.  


The pretzels live up to their name of being soft. Their bite size is perfect for snacking.  They're also baked - not fried so they're not greasy at all and make good finger foods.  

 The cheese filling is flavorful and tasty.  We opened up the cheddar cheese flavored box first and that ended up being my hubby's favorite.  It's a classic flavor and perfect taste combination with the pretzel.  My favorite flavor was the newest one - Buffalo Cheese.  I really liked the extra kick and spiciness of them.  The Nacho Cheese were good too and I felt like I should be at a ballpark when eating them.

    I would love to try the Superpretzel Sweet Cinnamon. I love cinnamon toast and prezels so to me that makes this a great combination. When I was a kid my uncle was a prezel vendor in Boston and sometimes on his way home he would stop at my house with big delicious pretzels. I always put mustard on mine.
