Hudson Lights Debut Album Review and $25 Giveaway

Hudson Lights

Hudson Lights is a group composed of four male vocal artists from the Rocky Mountains:  McKay Crockett, Keith Evans, Joseph Moore and Ross Welch. The group creates a fresh fusion of contemporary pop and jazz by creating world-class harmonies.  Their music is effortlessly charming and Hudson Lights brings a classy edge back to mainstream pop.  HUDSON LIGHTS released their self-titled debut album on November 12th. The upbeat album features classic covers of legends like Frank Sinatra and The Beatles. The album also features two of their original songs, "Hold On to Me" and "Good to Me".

I received a copy of Hudson Lights self-titled debut album and I've been finding it very easy to listen to.  It's not particularly upbeat, but has a great sound and it's a good one to listen to when you are wanting to relax or have some nice background music.   I really liked both of the more upbeat songs which were their covers of U2's "Beautiful Day" and Hall & Oates' "You Make My Dreams Come True". I enjoy listening to artist's covering other people's songs because I like to hear how they change it and make it their own. Hudson Lights does this particularly well on their cover of "Eleanor Rigby".  I enjoyed their jazzy version of the song.

You can order the album now from Amazon.
