Sidekix Review & Giveaway Event

I was recently introduced to Sidekix, the toy you can play with as a ball that also has a fun surprise inside.  I had my son visit the Sidekix website with me to choose which one we'd like at our house.  It was a tough decision, but I'm glad he made it.  He thought that Mojo from the Best Friends line should come to our house. 

When Mojo arrived it was just a ball and it didn't take my son long before he unzipped the zipper to see what fun was inside.  This cute little guy was waiting to be found.

Once the puppy was out then my daughter had to have her turn playing with it.  She loved how soft he is and how he fit in her hands.  She has taken it to bed with her several nights since we got him.  When he arrived his paws were sticking together and I didn't notice until it was my turn to play with him that there are magnets in both sets of paws, so you can play with him in different ways.  I have to say my kids have played more with the puppy part of the toy than as a ball, but my son really likes that it has a clip on it for hanging on his backpack.  He has already asked if he can take it on his backpack to school.  I think he is going to have to take turns with his sister though.  This girl is ready for preschool! 

I love that this is a toy that you can do so many different things with.  It was created to encourage discovery and it definitely does just that.  I also like the small details - the paw prints on the outside of the ball, the paw logo on Mojo, a loop on both the ball and the dog so you can use the clip either way.

Sidekix were created in 2011, so they are still a fairly new line of toys.  
I think once more people learn about these cute and inventive toys we'll start seeing them more!  Sidekix are made for kids 3 years and up and can be purchased for $9.99 each directly on their website.
