ReplyDeleteYes, I have some sort of medical appointment every day except for the weekends in January. It seems all my doctors and therapists want to see me at the start of the year. I have Multiple Sclerosis, so I have many therapists and doctors to see. I have PT, OT, Speech Therapy, and two regular therapists, due to my brain fog and memory loss issues, my physical falls, not walking well, plus fine motor issues. I'm a regular medical mess, lol

ReplyDeleteThis January will be fairly laid back compared to many other months, but still not boring. :)
ReplyDeleteI just had a small, outpatient surgery on the 7th, so am recovering from that & doing very well.
On the 8th we went to see the Broadway Musical RENT, at the Fisher Theatre, in Detroit.
We've been enjoying seeing quite a few movies at the cinema and still have more we want to see.
I'm enjoying visits with loved ones like our adult kids & grandson & father in law.
My mom celebrates her 71st birthday on the 14th and my little sister celebrates her 50th birthday on the 29th.
On the weekends, my husband and I always go on at least one to a few dates which I excitedly look forward to all week long. It varies as to where and what, but I love them all as long as I'm with him.
I'm starting to reorganize all my cupboards,drawers & closets and also daydreaming/planning on how I want to paint and decorate our new apt. so that we can get started with the furnishing and decorating ideas by spring, hopefully. So I am in the research and ideas & organizing phase of that.
I am working on trying to help my husband get his collection of short eerie stories book he has on amazon on Kindle and in paperback out on social media and such.
BUT, also a lot of relaxing going on. Ahhhhhh.
We live in Southeast Michigan & normally in the winter if it's TOO cold, we avoid outdoor activities, but by next winter I want to stop missing a lot of the really FUN things that do go on even when the air hurts your face, (as long as I can make it NOT hurt my face! haha) so I want to get something like this:

We have some birthdays to celebrate this month, and I like to do a big clean out of toys, clothes, food etc. to start the year off lighter and fresher. I love doing that! All our sports and activities are back on, (basketball, volleyball, piano, choir, art classes) but that's a good busy - we like being back in routine!
