Do you ever have participate in ice breaker type activities where you share your favorite color, food or vacation destination? It seemed like when I worked outside the home I had to do that sort of thing on a regular basis and my answer for favorite food was always cheese. Pizza is just not pizza in my opinion without lots of gooey cheese, most casseroles taste better with cheese baked in or on top and my favorite crackers are just not the same without a bite of cheese to go along with them. My love for cheese is why I could not say no to trying new Nibblers from Crystal Farms. Nibblers are 100% real cheese snacks in bite-sized pieces that pack lots of flavor in a small pouch.
Nibblers come in a 1.5 ounce single-serve stand up bag that make them a perfect healthy snack for on the go. Each bag contains 9-10 grams of protein. I truly wish my son shared my love for cheese because these would make a great addition to any packed lunch. Thankfully my daughter shares my love of cheese and was more than willing to sample all the different flavors with me.
We first tried the Chipotle Pepper flavor on a road trip and my husband and I liked the smoky flavor, but it was a good thing we had drinks packed too.
They definitely made us thirsty. This flavor is seasoned cheddar cheese.
As you can probably see from the picture above the Nibblers are very well seasoned and do have lots of flavor. I really liked the Smoky BBQ flavored Cheddar Cheese. It was both mine and my daughter's second favorite of all the flavors.
The Habanero Nibblers are seasoned pepper jack and they are definitely spicy. I like spicy foods so that's not an issue for me, but my daughter wasn't a big fan. These are also another reason you'll want to make sure you've also packed drinks.
The overall favorite out of the four flavors for us was the Sour Cream & Onion Nibblers which are flavored Monterrey jack cheese. We ate these plain, but I imagine they would be really tasty over a baked potato. Actually now that I think about it all of the flavors would be really good on top of baked potatoes or salads but offer so much flavor themselves you really don't need anything else.
I've found the Nibblers to be great snacks when on the go to soccer games and picking kids up from activities.
