ReplyDeleteMy husband Todd is a super dad to our 2 sons and 3 daughters. He has always been very involved, and made sure they knew he had their unconditional love. He has always gone above and beyond and continues to do his best to do so even though they are all young adults on their own now.

We have been together for 8 years and since day one he has treated my children from my previous relationship just as if they were his own. Now that we have a son together as well he treats each of them the same and would do absolutely anything for any of them.

ReplyDeleteMy Dad was a super Dad because he was in the Navy and although he may have been gone for periods of time, I never felt like I was deprived of his love. He actually inspired my love for travel by sending me postcards from around the world.
ReplyDeletei think part of being a super dad is teaching your kid how to be a strong boy/man in situations where you're in the right and also when you're wrong.
ReplyDeleteMy dad was always encouraging us to excel. He always supported whatever venture we undertook, even if he didn't always agree with it, lol When we were younger, he always made sure we went on "educational vacations." We hated it, lol as kids, but looking back, I was able to visit many places I could not afford to see today :)
ReplyDeleteMy Dad worked so hard that we didn't see him alot when we were growing up but now I know that he did it for the family so we had the luxury of going on trips and having a lake cabin to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, my car broke down when my dad was around. We were at someone's house out in the backroad country. He called for the tow truck for me because I did not know how or how to explain where we were at. He got the car towed and I did not have to do a thing. He does all kinds of things like this for me.

Mine's a super dad because he had 3 girls and didn't go crazy :) He put up with all of the crazy things we put him through!

My grandpa is a super dad because he raised 4 daughters and then my sister and I.
ReplyDeleteMy dad was always there for me when I needed him. He never missed one of my performances, even when I was away at college. Dad passed away in Nov. and this is my first father's day without my daddy!

ReplyDeleteIn the last year my Dad has had major artery repair surgery and had a leg amputated, but he still has a great attitude towards life (in fact he still flirts outrageously with waitresses and nurses). I think that is pretty super!
