Under the Sea Children's Bible Review and Giveaway #UnderTheSea #FlyBy

A new children’s Bible, called Under the Sea was released this month. The purpose of its oceanic design is to inspire young readers to discover the word of God using the majestic features of ocean life. The wonders of God’s magnificent creation are evident all around us, but the beauty of life under the sea has been known to captivate and intrigue little readers with the awesome of God’s brilliant handiwork.

The bible published by Zondervan is the New International Reader's Version. Although the bible's cover is designed for ages 6 to 10 the bible itself is not children's text and still includes very small print.  The kids will be attracted to the bright and colorful cover and I believe that will encourage them to pick up the book to read what is inside.  There are also four colorful inserts that are designed for children.  The inserts feature a dedication page, the books of the bible, "Prayer Is...", The Lord's Prayer, Ten Commandments for Kids, Love Passage for Kids, Famous Children of the Bible and The ABCs of Becoming a Christian.

I think it is nice for children to have their own bible and the Under the Sea Holy Bible is one they will like especially enjoy if they are fans of the Disney PIXAR movie Finding Nemo.  As a gift I think the bible would be best for children on the upper end of the suggested age range.  My daughter is seven and she would struggle if reading it on her own.
