Fall has arrived, and cooler weather has come with it. Whether or not you know it, your warm house is an open invitation to unwanted guests looking for a cozy winter vacation: rodents. Each fall, rodents migrate from their outdoor “summer home” to the warmth, food and shelter of their “winter timeshare” – your house!
Being human has its perks, like having a cozy house to enjoy during the winter, but imagine having to survive as a mouse? Try your luck by playing “Mouse in a House” – a choose-your-own-adventure game that puts you in the shoes of a rodent looking to survive the upcoming harsh winter season – try your best to stay alive and see how long you last!

I have a horror story. I heard a mouse in my garbage so I went out and was gonna kick the can but instead kicked my fridge which was right next to it and broke my toe. :(
ReplyDeleteMy rodent horror story consists of a rat getting in a trap that only gets him by the tail so it's dragging the trap around and someone had to do some rough justice and exterminate it,(not me,I'd be standing on a chair freaked out!)

I don't have a holiday rodent story. Once when we were in a restaurant our two year old son saw a mouse scurrying across the dining room floor and he called out: "Look! A mouse!" We never ate at that restaurant again!

ReplyDeleteI just remembered when we were kids my dad took us to the tree farm to cut down our tree. When we got it home we all decorated it. Then we heard what we thought was an ornament fall down the tree. Its was a rat. Not a tiny little mouse but a gross big rat. So horrible! Scared the crap out of us all. But we were able to laugh about it after we got the rat out. Lol

ReplyDeleteOne year we had Thanksgiving at my house. Of course I had the typical deviled eggs and potato salad topped with paprika. About halfway through the meal and some potato salad and deviled eggs in, I noticed that my paprika was moving!!! Somehow some tiny little bugs managed to get into the paprika and were dyed red from being in there. It's not a rodent story, but it was a pest nonetheless!!! Needless to say, there was not paprika topping our food at Christmas that year.
