I start planning weeks ahead of time. I find a place that everyone agrees with, then I make a list of everything we need and use it to check off items as we pack.
ReplyDeleteIt has been at least 7-8 years since I have been on vacation as far as going out of town for a time longer that a single day. What we used to do is figure out where we were going and just pack up what we thought we would need depending on where we were going and where we were sleeping like camping out or staying in a motel or staying with friends.
ReplyDeleteI know weeks or months in advance, but always seem to pack at the last minute and rush through it, so far I have not forgotten anything.
ReplyDeleteWe usually plan a week or so before we go on a long trip. We usually don't go far away from home so we don't need to take a lot of things.
ReplyDeleteI make a list and gather everything together early, if possible, and pack as much as I can ahead of time, too.
