I unfortunately will be NOT celebrating Easter by working a 12 hour shift that day (not by my choice, but I'm a nurse and somebody has to be working, right?) My family will be getting together for a nice big meal, though.

We just stayed close to home and we bought the kids 2 baskets of chocolates each.
ReplyDeleteEaster this year ended up being a multi day event but it was good times and good food with family and the kids got to participate in 3 egg hunts :D

Sadly I had to work 13 hours on Easter sunday,,,,,,sigh

ReplyDeleteWe don't have any family near us now so we took a road trip to see a Hockey Playoff game in Pittsburgh for Easter. The Easter bunny of course still brought a basket to my daughter, in the hotel room, but that was about all we did Easter wise this year.

ReplyDeleteWe did our Easter bunny baskets, had an egg hunt, and were about to go to the zoo when we got a phone call . . . 3 unannounced out of state guests were coming. . . to stay 2 nights with us. . . so I spent the rest of Easter cleaning up, figuring out sleeping arrangements for the 3 guests and pulling a dinner for 7 out of my . . . .
