Fundraising season has officially kicked off and I know this for a fact because although my son is only in first grade we've already had fundraisers for the school PTO and scouts.  My daughter's preschool fundraiser starts tomorrow and we've bought items for fundraisers from both my nephew and a neighbor.  The honest truth is that I'm not usually a fan of most items sold during fundraisers so I was very pleasantly surprised when I received information about Fun Pasta Fundraising.  Fun Pasta Fundraising offers adorable pasta shapes and packaging at great price points.  I know the prices are right because I've seen pasta from The Pasta Shoppe at our favorite orchard's country store selling for the same price.  Plus when you buy from a fundraiser 40% to 50% of the profit is going toward a good cause.

 

I received a fabulous assortment of pasta from The Pasta Shoppe that included eight of their fun products.  I'm a huge pasta fun so we've been having no trouble at all using the pasta in our meals.  We first used some of the soccer pasta for a pasta dinner with fresh tomatoes and Parmesan.

 

Another evening we enjoyed some of the Spinach Basil Garlic Angel Hair.  We did have it with sauce but really this light pasta was extremely flavorful on its own.  A bag of it comes with "12 nests" and will easily feed my family of four multiple times.

 

We used some of the Zoo Animals Pasta in our favorite Bacon Mac & Cheese Recipe and it made this delicious dish even more fun than usual.

There are pasta salads for over 60 of your favorite college teams from Fun Pasta Fundraising.  Both the Hawkeyes and the Cyclones are officially licensed and ready to go for your next tailgate.

We cooked up the Iowa State Cyclone pasta salad first.  The package includes a 16 oz. bag of pasta, salad mix plus a few recipes.  It will serve 6 to 8 and has a shelf life of 18 months.

I can't wait to try the Chicken Noodle Soup.  The noodles are shaped like chickens and since it's a best seller I have a feeling it's going to taste delicious.  I think it would make a wonderful gift idea.

You'll also find pasta for every season and or holiday.  Truly the possibilities are endless!  My kids think this pasta is a lot of fun.  I think the pasta tastes great and appreciate that it uses all natural pasta and vegetable powders for the pasta color. (The only exception to this is the collegiate pasta which does use food coloring to get your favorite team colors).
