Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends Review & Giveaway


Honey Bunches of Oats has introduced a new flavor to their popular line of cereal. Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends combines mango flavored flakes, coconut shavings and coconut flavored granola clusters.  My family received a box of this cereal to try and overall it was a big hit.

 I'm not a huge fan of mango or tropical fruit flavors, so although I tried a bit of the cereal I left the real taste-testing to the rest of the fam.  My kids love to eat cereal any time of day and usually eat it dry, so that's how they first tried the new Honey Bunches of Oats.  They loved the fruity flavor and really loved the coconut flavored clusters.  As with all the Honey Bunches of Oats cereal they would hunt for the clusters first and eat those before finishing the rest of the cereal.  It was a good flavor combination for my hubby too.  He enjoyed the cereal with milk.  The cereal is nice and crispy and the clusters give it a good added crunch.  It really is tasty looking.  I love the little bit of color the mango flakes add to it.  Our box of Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends did not last long at all.  I remember being thankful I took the pictures I did when I had the chance!

It's nice to know this cereal is pretty good for you too.  It contains 10g of Whole Grain and 9 essential vitamins & minerals including 60% daily value of iron.  It's also heart healthy with 0g trans fat and 0mg cholesterol.
