Get Red Carpet Ready with Wholly Guacamole and Daily's Cocktails & Giveaway #RedCarpetReady

I have another confession to make.  I am an award show junky.  I can't get enough of them and I have been in heaven this award show season.  But it's not over yet.  The biggest award show of them all will be on Sunday night and I can guarantee I'll be watching.   Although I haven't seen all of the Oscar nominated films I've read so much about each of them that I can make some good assumptions as to who the big winners will be.  I'll probably be doing some tweeting during the show too since Daily's Cocktails and Wholly Guacamole are hosting a Twitter party.  There will be all kinds of fun award show chat plus prizes too!  I can't wait!

To get excited for the red carpet event I was sent some fabulous Wholly Guacamole products to enjoy and bought some Daily's cocktails to make our movie watching evening festive.  My hubby and I planned a movie night with one of our favorite movies and a 2012 Oscar nominee for both Best Picture and Best Actor, The Descendants.  It takes place in Hawaii, so the Daily's Cocktails were a perfect accompaniment to the gorgeous scenery in the film.  

We enjoyed some Strawberry Daiquiris and Frozen Mojitos.  It was actually my first time trying any type of mojito and I must say that I'm a new fan of this yummy lime drink with a hint of mint.  It's so easy to serve at any occasion.  Just squeeze, pour and enjoy.

Peppers have been on sale recently, so we started our evening off with some fajitas with all the fixings including some Wholly Homestyle Guacamole.  I love all Wholly Guacamole, but the Homestyle may seriously be my new favorite.  It was chunky with a wonderful flavor.  I ended up scraping the bowl clean myself.  We also enjoyed the Wholly Salsa in Classic Medium.  It had a great flavor and a decent kick to it.   If you're looking some yummy appetizer and finger food ideas for your next event be sure to check out the recipes at EatWholly.com.
