Combat Source Kill Max Ant Bait & Gel ~ Review & Giveaway
A little less than a year ago construction on the new addition to our house started. For a week last fall my son had a great time watching the bobcats, diggers and other construction trucks work at our house. It was all new and exciting. What was not exciting was the pests that came along with the dirt digging and new openings to our house. We started having a problem with ants in our kitchen and if you have ever had that problem you know it's not a good one to have. I was usually the one to discover the ants and would try to get them as I saw them. I don't like using spray myself, so I would have to wait until my husband got home from work to have him spray and then hope that it would take care of the issue. More often than not the ants would return for another day and I'd have to deal with them all over again.
If you're having to deal with ants in your home Combat has a couple of products that work much better than sprays in my opinion. The Combat Source Kill Max Ant Bait comes in a package with 6 child-resistant bait stations. These are very easy to use. Just break the baits apart and place them anywhere you see ants. I like that these can be used anywhere at anytime. I can put them on the counter, floor or under the sink with no mess and no smelly fumes or odor. You can use the baits for 3 months before replacing if need be.
For some reason we've also had a problem with ants in an upstairs windowsill. There is where we've used Combat Source Kill Max Ant Gel. The gel is applied using a syringe type applicator and is great to use on cracks and crevices in your home. It's a good product to have for ant issues in the garage or even outside. This product is fast acting and works within hours.
